Revamping My Shopping List

For 2013,  I am making a conscious effort to eat better. I started it off last year with my transition to vegetarianism, but I want to take it a step further. I am incorporating more superfood, fresh produce, and water on a daily basis.  I am also determined to find better alternatives to old favorites, such as butter and cream. For one, I am giving up (or at least staying away from) things like honey mustard dressing and cream based sauces. Instead, I will substitute this with lemon juice and olive oil, vinaigrette, and occasionally sugar free salad dressing. I am also replacing white sugar with muscovado or coconut sugar instead. I hope these make a big difference not just weight wise, but also health wise. Let’s see, let’s see.
