Books on the Go

I may not really be much of a reader (yes, I am one of the very few teachers who is not a fan of the art of reading!) but lately, I have really been appreciating the use of the Kindle App on my iPad. It has made getting access to books I need to read much easier! During teacher training, we were asked to read quite a number of books and many of them were not readily available in the bookstores here so I had to settle for second best: buying online books.

However, as I fiddled more with my iPad, I remembered a set of audio books I used to have and gave it a go. OMG. What fun. I remembered too that when I was in the States before, I used to borrow a number of audio books in the library. Why didn’t I think of getting online audio books instead of the one’s I needed to read for TT instead??? Hehe.

Seriously, though, reading is something I used to enjoy when I was younger. I guess because the stuff I had to read when I got older where not as fun, yeah? But now that the fun is back, let’s see where this goes 🙂
