Gifts from Darkness.
At the end of a very long day, I was sitting across this window and was blessed with such pretty shadows. It lasted not more than two minutes, as the clouds quickly came by to cover the sun, but I was glad I got to take a quick shot, even if it wasn’t framed very well.
I suddenly was reminded of a very important lesson I learned in therapy…that dark nights of the soul aren’t there to tear you down, but to allow you to see things in a new light. There is beauty in darkness, after all.

yeah, there is beauty in darkness… the beauty that you would only see in the dark… God made darkness to let us know that everything is in its balance
