Quiet Summer Moments.

On a recent trip to Palawan, I was able to find these shell curtains that I fell in love with. When I got home, I hung them by my window and every night, the sounds of the shells gently clanging on each other lulls me to sleep. I caught this cute scene between my niece and my cousin as they had a quiet little moment by my window.

I love the way you captured the light on the little girl’s face as she examines the shells. It is a lovely composition!

I’m with Mary, these would be great in a light breeze.

Just to clarify, the building in my Sepia Scenes is the North Carolina State Capitol building, not the US Capitol building in Washington.

This shell wind chime is beautiful. It seems that the children seem more lively in sepia – I don’t know why. But these kids look wonderful!

That was a good idea to hang them so they’d cling together in the breeze! Nice sepia shot too!
